3 days discovering Venice
To start your trip we suggest fabulous Venice. Elegant, romantic, precious, funny and colourful… these are the best adjectives describing the Italian city of love! Venice is the city of old bridges, squares, canals, carnival and even more!
During your stay don’t miss out on visiting the St. Mark’s Square, St. Mark’s Basilica, Bridge of Sighs, Doge’s Palace and Rialto Bridge. We suggest you to go to the Rialto Market to pick something that you can cook in your apartment! Nothing is better than living like a local during your vacation. How to reach Milan?
Once you have visited Venice a great option is to visit Milan! To get to Milan you can travel by car or by train. We suggest you the second option! This way you’ll avoid to be stuck in the traffic and your trip will be fast and even more comfortable!
The main station in Venice is “Venezia Santa Lucia”, located in the Cannaregio district. The train takes 2:35 hours to reach “Milano Centrale” and prices start from €37, 50. We recommend you to reserve your seats using the Trenitalia website in order to avoid nasty surprises.
3 days discovering Milan
As soon as you step out of the train, you’ll see how Italy can be different within only 3 hours of travel. From Venice and its old canals and bridges, you’ll be catapulted into a different atmosphere with which Milan boasts. Fashion, design and technology are the best adjectives describing one of the most famous fashion capitals in the world.
In Milan you should visit the Duomo square, the theater “La Scala”, the Sforza Castel, the Arch of Peace and many other attractions. Moreover, you must walk around the Columns of San Lorenzo that you can find in the city center and which are part of the few remains of the ancient Roman colony. The food is also fashion in this Italian fashion capital! You can’t miss the classic Risotto alla Milanese which is often nicely paired with Osso Buco, a slowly roasted veal shank.

How to reach Florence?
The best way to get to Florence is by train. From “Milano Centrale” to “Firenze Santa Maria Novella” the train will cost you about €50 and it takes just 1:40 hour. Book your ticket earlier on the Trenitalia website and travel in tranquillity .
4 days discovering Florence
Florence is known as the cradle of the Renaissance and you’ll fall in love with the city just after few steps in the centre. It is the city of art for excellence and boasts attractions as the Duomo, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, “Piazza della Signoria” and “Palazzo Vecchio”, the Baptistery, and the beautiful “Campanile di Giotto”.
Once in Florence, you must eat the famous Bistecca Fiorentina and the popular Pappa al pomodoro, a simple dish of bread, oil, garlic and tomato sauce with spices. Finally you’re in the oldest Italian city, the Eternal Rome! Since it is the last stop of your trip, you could stay here for more than 3 days… and we strongly recommend it! As it is known, Rome wasn’t built in a day and it’s worth a long visit to discover every single secret. The greatness of Rome is closely linked to its history, culture and monuments.
The major attractions are the Colosseum, St. Peter, The Castel Sant’Angel, Piazza Navona, Piazza di Spagna and Trevi’s fountain. But Rome is more than just fabulous monuments!
