Rome may be the capital of Italy, but in terms of fashion, we will all agree that Milan is the one that steals the show.
In fact, it is considered to be one of the fashion capitals in the world, together with New York, Paris and London. The main expression of this status is found in the Milan Fashion Week, but there are many other related landmarks in the city, such as the beautiful Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II or the many designer houses and modelling agencies located in the city.
However, you don’t need to be into fashion to enjoy the elegant city of Milan. The Milan cathedral, of Gothic architectural style, is the third largest in the world and one of the most unique, and there are other monuments that deserve a visit, such as the Teatro alla Scala. And, of course, we can’t forget about the opportunity to try the wonderful and delicious Italian cuisine.
