With long and immense flower fields, this is definitely the most colourful region of Holland during spring. Specialty: Known for its enormous amount of daffodils fields
5. De Zilk
Where to go: Zilkerduinweg in De Zilk, 2191 AP The Netherlands
Specialty: Get the picturesque feeling while walking on the country lanes between the farms.
Event Tip! Flower season in Holland starts around March and will end around May. If you are staying in an apartment in Amsterdam during this period, we recommend you to visit Keukenhof in Lisse; a huge flower showcase with a special emphasis on flower bulbs (open from 20 March until 17 May 2015), the famous Bloemencorso through the “Bollenstreek” (25th April 2015) and take a look at the annual Flower Parade in Noordwijk (25th until 26th April 2015)!
