From Barcelona to Seville – A 12-day trip around the major cities of Spain

For our second tour we’ve chosen Spain! Let’s start from the biggest city of the Catalan region, Barcelona, and then move to the capital of the Spanish “movida”, Madrid!  To end your trip we suggest 4 days in Seville enjoying the sun of the south of Spain!

4 days discovering Barcelona

Barcelona can be called the Gaudì city since you can find his footprint in every corner of the city. It is the biggest city of the Catalan region of Spain and it offers everything you’re looking for! In this great city you cannot miss to visit the two pearls from Antoni Gaudì, about Casa Battlò and Casa Milà, located in the most fashion boulevard of the city, Passeig de Gracia. If you want to admire the beautiful panorama of the city, we suggest you to go to Park Güell, where you can seat on the colourful benches designed by the famous architect and admire his fabulous mosaics. Besides Park Güell, you can admire an amazing panoramic view also from Montjuic and from the Tibidabo, which dominates the city from above.

Once in Barcelona, don’t forget to try a juice in one of the local markets of the city. The most famous is “El Mercado de San José”, known as “La Boquería”. We suggest you to visit the Gotic district and El Born. The “Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar”, symbol of the Catalan Gotic, is worth a visit as well as the “Catedral de Barcelona”. Naturally, you cannot leave before tasting the Catalan cooking. For lunch, we recommend you the Can Paixano (La Xampanyeria), founded in 1969, and which has become a must in the city.
