Rome
Rome can’t be compared to any other city in the world!
Visiting the capital of Italy is like travelling back in time, or like jumping into a history book: The chaotic city of Rome can’t help but being chaotic, packed as it is with remains of its imperial and its most recent past. Monuments from different times in history and thus very different styles follow one another as you walk through the city: The Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Altare della Patria, the Castel Sant’Angelo…
The list is never-ending! But that’s just the beginning of it. Rome is also known by its many fountains (don’t forget to throw a coin into the Trevi Fountain!) and its beautiful plazas, such as Piazza Navona or Piazza di Spagna, where you will be able to experience the lively atmosphere of the city.
And finally, remember that there is a whole country inside of Rome: Vatican City, where marvels such as St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel await you.
