Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris, a magical place for children and for adults

  • Located in Marne-la-Vallée, 32 km from the city of Paris, there is a place that constitutes the closest thing possible to a real-life fairy tale. Of course, we’re referring to Disneyland Paris, the most visited themed park in Europe – one that makes the delights of children and adults from the entire world, since it is dedicated to the Disney universe. It includes two theme parks: On one side, there is Disneyland Park, the original one, which opened in 1992, and on the other side you will find the newest, the Walt Disney Studios Park, active since 2002. Disneyland Park is dedicated to Disneyland itself and the Magic Kingdoms, whereas the Wald Disney Studios Park is based on the films and the show business – there, you will be able to enjoy a behind-the-scenes atmosphere.
If you’re travelling to Paris with your children, going to Disneyland Paris is a must, and it will be an unforgettable experience for you too: No matter how old you are, or how old your children are; Disneyland Paris is the place where you remember how to be a kid again.

Well, you will probably find cool stuff for yourself as well, among the many shops that you will find in the theme park. • There are many options to go from Paris to Disneyland Paris and from Disneyland Paris to the city centre. You can rent a car to go so you don’t have to depend on the transport’s schedules but it is not necessary, since the bus and train options are quite good.
First of all, you have the special trains and buses. The Disneyland Paris Express offers a daily shuttle by bus for the whole family, with a return ticket. The shuttle departs from different points in the city: The Gare du Nord, the Opera, the Madeleine and Chatelet. It’s thought to have a full day in Disneyland Paris: it arrives to the park at 10 am and it leaves at 8pm. There is another shuttle that departs directly from Orly Airport and Charles de Gaulle Airport , the Magical Shuttle Bus.
The other option is taking the RER A train from Paris, which will take you to the park in just 35 minutes.
  • There are lots and lots to do in Disneyland Paris – so much that, in fact, just a day may not be enough to fully enjoy this magical park. First of all, and like any theme park, there are the attractions: Kids from all ages, as well as adults, will be able to enjoy different attractions – but not all, since some of them are subjected to age or height. Some of the most wonderful are Alice’s Curious Labyrinth, the Crush’s Coaster, the Discovery Arcade, Le Passage Enchanté d’Aladdin or the Space Mountain.
But Disneyland Paris is also a place to see: You children will love the Disney Magic on Parade, a wonderful parade with a myriad of Disney characters that lasts 25 minutes. Make sure to ask at what time it is when you buy your ticket so you don’t miss it! Besides, in the Sleeping Beauty Castle, you will be able to enjoy a fireworks show in the evening at 8pm, which will turn into an unforgettable experience.
Your children and you will also enjoy the magical views of the castles and the attractions: Disneyland Paris truly is a trip to the insides of a fairy tale.
In Disneyland Paris, your kids will also be able to see shows, and there are places like the Restaurant Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show that include a show + lunch combo. Make sure to check the schedules and admission online, since booking in advance is necessary.
  • Disneyland Paris is a place of choices – and of hard ones! In most amusement parks you just have the same few fast food stands and your choices don’t include much more than fries, hot dogs or tacos. But that’s not the case in Disneyland Paris! You can choose to buy some popcorn and a sandwich to go, of course, but you can also sit down and enjoy a real meal with your family. And they are also themed! You can have a burger in many places, but you can also try Disney-like French cuisine at Auberge de Cendrillon, Tex-Mex cuisine at Fuente del Oro Restaurante, and Exotic Cuisine and Seafood at the Rainforest Café. But don’t worry! The classic choices are all around the park – Disneyland Paris also calls for the typical pizza, hot dogs and burgers, and you can find them there as well.
  • If you book one of our apartments near Disneyland Paris, you can have an evening outing right at the theme park! As we’ve said a few times, Disneyland Paris will bring you back to your childhood years, and you will probably forget about finding a pub afterwards. The best choice is staying in the park until closing time at 20.00. Are you sure you will have energy left afterwards? If you’re travelling with children, you will probably go straight to bed, but if you still feel like having a drink, you can go directly to the Latin Quarter once you are back in Paris. There, you will find many wonderful bars and pubs for a fun night out!
